BASED IN CAMDEN. SERVING NEW YORK OPERATORS.
Inventory audits and loss prevention for New York convenience stores.
Choose the count your operation needs—and get practical help understanding the results.
Three ways to audit your retail inventory.
Assured Inventory offers Financial, Hybrid, and Line-Item Detail audits. The difference is how inventory is counted and the level of detail in the results.
- Financial audits
- Inventory is counted using price multiplied by quantity. Results show physical retail inventory in dollars by department.
- Hybrid audits
- Your store’s pricebook is downloaded to the auditor’s data computer. Like items are scanned and multiplied by quantity, producing retail dollar totals by department.
- Line-Item Detail audits
- Each retail product is scanned using your pricebook. Inventory results are broken down by UPC to show individual product totals.
Food service cost audits.
For stores with made-to-order food programs, cost based audits count food, paper products, and packaging. Items are recorded by department and calculated into cost totals that operators can use to calculate food service margins.
Loss prevention support beyond the count.
Consultations are guided by your operation’s needs and previous inventory results. Joe Correia and Corey Trask work with operators to understand shrink issues, tighten controls, and educate store-level employees.
The 7-hour Red Flags class covers employee theft, the fraud triangle, vendor procedures, grazing, financial and behavioral red flags, inventory preparation, and exception-report review. A condensed 3-hour class focuses on employee theft, the fraud triangle, vendor procedures, and site-specific issues.
